The Right Track?

Distractions
run off like side roads
Occasionally
the side road leads
in the right direction
But the signs
need to be read carefully
And
if there are no signs
you need to be
careful & wise
so you are not
distracted
from the main purpose

Long Letters On A Short Piece Of Paper

(thanks to The Travelling Wilburys)

It’s over

                                                I love you, but

Sorry

                                                It’s cancer

Did I miss something?

Yeh, I’ll have a cup of tea

Shards Of Clay

“Pots break.  All the time.  Memories, only memories, remain unbroken” (Anonymous)

Shards of clay
            Scattered
Can’t drift away
            Reminder
Of creation broken
            No matter
Cause we hope in
            Another
Chance

Our memories
            Drift
As our stories
            Shift
From fact to fiction
            Time
Allows our diction
            Another
Trance

Vanity of vanities
            Dispels
Our common humanity
            Still
We try to remember
            Stories
That won’t dismember
            Another
Dance

Your blessing clothes me!

Psalm 3:8 Your blessing clothes your people! (The Message)

No designer clothes for me
No $500- price tag
Not even second hand glories
            from the op shop.
But clothing for free
Blessings in abundance
Protection, covering, love, support.
The list goes on and on
More clothes than I can wear
New ones to choose each day
Your blessing clothes me!
